CHP Holder Shoots Hostage Taker

A man entered a Dollar General store and began waving a gun around, and eventually attempted to usher his hostages into the breakroom of the store.

I’ve been told that once a person begins to move hostages into a different location, people die. During a simple robbery, the robber usually wants to get out of the scene pretty quickly in order to get away, and the situation doesn’t involve rounding people up at gunpoint.

It just so happened that there was a person in the store with a legally concealed weapon who didn’t like the idea of being rounded up and taken to a different location by an armed madman. The CHP holder fired a single shot, killing the madman, and ending the incident.

Bravo sir! This is why we carry whenever we’re out and about, even during a quick trip to the convience store. We don’t know when the excrement is going to hit the fan, but being prepared for the situation puts the armed citizen at the advantage.
