Some Thoughts on Live Fire Practice – 152

Ben and I talk a bit this week about live fire practice. It’s somewhat interesting that the two of us have been taking competitive shooting seriously for a while now, but were both just getting to the point where we’re getting live fire practice sessions in regularly.

The News

SilencerCo announced a new integrally suppressed pistol this week. Having only looked at the pictures, to us, it actually looks like it has some promise as a suppressed pistol that’s actually somewhat practical.

A Federal Appeals Court judge put the smack down on a bunch of DC gun laws this week. Good.

The TSA is on track to confiscate a record number of guns this year. Listen, don’t use your range bag as a carry-on. It’s a bad idea.

Gear that Doesn’t Suck

Ben’s been playing around with this cheap pistol case for the past week or so and surprisingly, it’s pretty good. Yes, it’s made by NCStar, but it’s well designed and works pretty good.
