USPSA Allowing Half-Size Targets at Level 1 Matches

A couple days ago I received an email from USPSA regarding this new decision from NROI about allowing half-sized targets at Level1 USPSA matches. Personally, I think this is a great decision. I’ve shot the half-size targets at different outlaw matches over the years, and they’re really not a big deal, just treat them like a target that’s further away.

And that’s what makes this a good decision. There are plenty of places that do their best to put on challenging matches in small indoor ranges where they don’t have a lot of distance or options, and the half-size targets will give match directors a bit more leeway in adding some extra challenge to their matches.

I like it. Here’s the press release from USPSA on it.
