Where Do You Focus While Shooting and Transitioning

Zack in Raleigh sends in today’s Q&A voicemail asking about where to focus while shooting.

There isn’t really a single answer to the question, it all depends on the shot you’re taking. For some shots that are real close up, you might only push your gun toward the target and slap the trigger, and for further shots you’ll want to get that hard front sight focus that you’ve always been told about.

I find during further transitions my eyes will start moving the next target before my front sight does, and the front sight kind of catches up.
