I Want Gamer Concealment for IDPA, but I Don’t Want a Vest

KevinC from Misfires and Lightstrikes sends in today’s Q&A voicemail asking about “gamer” concealment for IDPA that isn’t a vest.

IDPA requires you to start shooting with your gun and magazines on your belt concealed, and over the years the “tactical vest” has become the defacto concealment garment for IDPA. It’s not required, but in my opinion, it’s the best thing going.

The vests are heavy canvas, an they flick right out of the way when you’re drawing the gun. They’re easy to take on and off between stages, and they last a long time.

If you’ve got a question, I’d like to answer it.
