How to Score a USPSA Target

If you roll up to your first USPSA match, there’s a good chance you don’t have a clue how the targets are scored. There’s a chance that after you’ve seen a couple shooters do their thing, you might be even more confused if nobody explained it to you.

So, here in this video I’m explaining the basics of target scoring. There are some more intricate things that get more complicated when we add in things like no-shoot targets, and hardcover, and some other things, which I plan to explain in more detail in a future video.

This, however, should teach you the basics of USPSA target scoring, including how to use an overlay, how to deal with doubles, and what happens when a bullet hit the scoring lines.
