North Carolina House Bill 111 – Action Needed

There is a bill that we have been fighting for since last year that is in risk of being lost in committee in the NC Senate. House Bill 111 is a bill that will allow residents in NC with a valid Concealed Handgun License to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol.
It seems that most restaurants I find myself eating st serve some sort of alcoholic beverages, even if they do not have a bar. It’s really a pain to have to walk out and place my firearm in the car when I realize a restaurant I’m eating in serves alcohol. Consuming alcohol while carrying would still be illegal, which I personally feel is just fine, as guns and alcohol do not mix.

Head over to the GRNC website, and send an email to our legislators and tell them to get this bill to the floor and voted on before the end of the short session. If this bill is not voted on soon, it will be lost in the committee, and all we have worked for over the past year will be lost!

Follow this link, email your senator, and let’s get this bill passed!
