Triangle Tactical Podcast and Blog on Guns, Gear, and Competition Shooting
I just saw this hitting the twittersphere thanks to WeaponBlog.
It appears that Defense Distributed has had all of their files pulled offline at the request of the Dept. of Defense.
As you can see, the website at DefCad has a banner across the top of the site explaining that the files have been removed.
What’s crazy about this, is that the files from DefCad have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times, and taking them off of the DefCad website will do nothing but make them more available on any number of torrent sites on the web.
If/when I get any more information on this, I’ll update the site ASAP.
