The past couple of days have brought some leaks of new pistols that will be dropping at SHOT Show later this month. As expected, Glock is apparently coming out with a line of optic ready long slide pistols. I’m curious about why they decided to go with long slide pistols for the optic ready models, because once you put an optic on the pistol, the sight radius doesn’t matter anymore. I’d be a bit more …

According to Weddles Gun Shop on Facebook, that could be the case. We don’t have much to go on here, but this seems to be the first report on what may be coming at SHOT show next month from Glock. The Glock “MBS” is the “multiple backstrap system” on the Gen4 pistols, so I don’t really know what to think about “MOS”, but I suspect they may be right about some sort of optic ready …

Rumor is that big green didn’t bring any Remington R51 pistols to Media Day on the Range at SHOT show yesterday (It’s a rumor, because I’m not at SHOT show). What was once just an announcement, that turned into an announcement that there will soon be an announcement, is now 3 announcements. Yes, that’s correct. So today, Glock unveiled the Glock I.D. webpage.
