SC Constitutional Carry Killed

Looks like the SC Constitutional Carry Bill is dead. It got shot down last night on a 4-17 vote in the Senate committee where it has been for a while now. It’s unfortunate, hopefully after the 2014 midterm elections a similar bill will be resubmitted, and maybe then there will be some more support. SC Gov. Nikki Haley to sign Restaurant Carry Bill at 10:30AM

This is exciting news for our friends in South Carolina! Gov. Haley has announced that she will be signing the S308 into law at 10:30AM. SC S308 will allow for concealed carry in restaurants that serve alcohol, as well as speeding up permit times for LEO’s and former military personnel who have had prior training (which I’m not sure I agree with).
