Looks like the SC Constitutional Carry Bill is dead. It got shot down last night on a 4-17 vote in the Senate committee where it has been for a while now. It’s unfortunate, hopefully after the 2014 midterm elections a similar bill will be resubmitted, and maybe then there will be some more support.
I’m disappointed about this, but it is exciting that the folks in SC gained restaurant carry recently, so at the very least things are moving in the right direction.
It would be helpful if your posts showed when they were posted. I read here that the Constitutional carry bill was shot down in sub-committee “last night”, but have no way of knowing when that was.
