I’m consolidating some guns in order to make room for new ones. I bought both of these with the intention of shooting them for a while, and now their time is up.
First on the block is my S&W M&P Shield 9mm. – SOLD
I bought this pistol used with about 500 rounds down the pipe in September 2013. Since then I don’t believe I’ve shot more than 3-400 rounds through it. It still has the Apex Shield kit installed which makes the trigger buttery smooth, and a hair shorter than stock. I’ve included all of the factory parts as well.
The Shield 9mm has eaten every single type of ammo I’ve ever out through it, and it’s accurate enough for what it is. It’s been a great pistol, but I prefer to carry my Springfield XDs 9mm, so it just sits in the safe.
Next on the chopping block is my S&W M&P Pro 9mm.
I purchased this pistol after a blog reader called me out for bashing the M&P line of pistols without owning one. It’s been a fantastic pistol, just like the Shield. Stupid accurate for a polymer factory built pistol, and very reliable through the 3,000ish rounds I’ve put through it. You can read my full review of the S&W M&P Pro here. The M&P Pro comes with 5 magazines, 4 of which have the M&P Compact baseplates installed for competition.
Both pistols are for sale at Carolina Gunrunners in North Raleigh, so you can check them out during business hours until they are sold.
As for me, I’m going to pick up the Glock 34 Gen4 that I’ve been wanting for a couple of years now. I’ll probably put Sevigny or Dawson sights on it, and a 3.5lb connector and call it a day.
Say it ain’t so!
