Triangle Tactical Podcast and Blog on Guns, Gear, and Competition Shooting
June is going to be a big month for the shooting sports in the Triangle area. We have a couple of big matches coming up that will be bringing world class shooters to the area that you night want to know about.
The first big match is the Tarheel 3-gun Challenge, which is going to be held on June 2nd and 3rd. This match is part of the 3 Gun Nation series, and will be bringing many of the big name shooters into the area. I didn’t get a slot in the match, but I am planning to head down and get some pictures, and cover the match as best I can.
The second big match in June is the IDPA Carolina Cup at The Range in Oxford, NC. The Carolina Cup is known as one of the best IDPA matches of the year, and will also bring in shooters from all over the country.
These are just a couple of the big matches that happen throughout the year in the Triangle area, we also have the IDPA East Coast Championship coming up in August, and many other regular matches every weekend in the area. If you are interested in competition shooting, there is not better time to get started than right now, as these games are exploding in our area, and we are always looking for new shooters!
