There are several reports coming out regarding a shooting at the Charlotte, NC gun show today. I was not in attendance, however I can only imagine that there was some horrible negligence on behalf of the shooter.
Early reports yielded several different stories regarding exactly what happened, but it now appears that a vendor entered the show with a round in the pipe, and in the process of clearing the weapon at a later time, he pulled the trigger and shot himself.
News 14 ran a short story about the incident, stating that the incident happened shortly before the show was opened to the public.
A Facebook Fan Page for a KGB Armory out of Monroe, NC is claiming that the person who shot himself was there helping them to setup, and they have offered an explanation of what happened on that page.
What do you guys think?
I was at the table next to the incident. Eric was a friend of the owner of KGB Armory. He was helping Neal setup & made stupid mIstakes & has ended up paying for those. They're declaring bankruptcy on Monday according to their attorney, with hundreds of orders unfilled and the buyers money spent.
That does not sound good.
