NCJA Charity Challenge
If you’ve been reading/listening to Triangle Tactical for any time at all, you have probably heard mention of this match. It’s a pistol match, raising money for charity being held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the North Carolina Justice Academy in Salemburg, NC. More info here…
Tarheel 3 Gun/TigerSwan 2 Gun Tactical Match
This match will be the first of many matches coming next year. The match is a partnership between the guys from the Tarheel 3 Gun, and the TigerSwan folks. The match will be held at the TigerSwan range complex in Stedman, NC, and will be shot using TigerSwan’s shoot houses, and ranges.

Green Beret ProAm
The Green Beret ProAm is a shooting match being held on Nov. 12th at Range 37psr in Bunnlevel, NC. This is a match where shooters are paired up with Green Berets, and they shoot the match as a pair. This match is a fundraiser, raising money for the Green Beret Foundation. Last time I checked, the match was full, however they are a little short of their goal, so any help would be appreciated.
IDPA Triple Crown
The Triple Crown is an annual IDPA match that is usually held in Florida, however this year, it is being held at The Range in Oxford, NC. As the name implies, the Triple Crown is really 3 sanctioned IDPA matches, one held Saturday during the day, one held in the dark Saturday night, and a third match held Sunday morning. Last I checked there were still slots open for the match, but remember, being a sanctioned IDPA match, you need to be an IDPA member, and have a valid classification.
As you can see, there are a lot of matches and shooting events happening around the Triangle this weekend. I hope everyone gets out and does some shooting!
