The Misguided Moms Actually Get It Right…

A Kentucky legislator didn’t clear the chamber of her concealed carry pistol, and had an negligent discharge in her office on Wednesday. The Misguided Moms apparently made a statement that actually makes perfect sense:

The Kentucky chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America said lawmakers should be held to the highest standards and never put others at risk.

As someone who holds a lot of contempt for most of our elected officials on both sides of the aisle, I agree. They should be held to the highest standards, and they shouldn’t put others at risk.

I was going to add in the “Even a stopped clock is right twice a day” saying, but I think that’s giving the moms too much credit.

Now, I do have to ask one question: If this was her concealed carry pistol, and she can carry it anywhere in the building legally, why was she fiddling with it in her office?
