This is great news for Wake Co, NC residents. ABC 11 just reported on the evening news that starting Monday 2/24 residents of Wake County will be able to apply for PPPs online, eliminating the need to make two trips downtown to the Sheriffs Dept when applying.
Nothing on the Sheriffs Dept. website just yet, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it for any updates.
No waiting in line twice? Mailed to my home? Shorter line for the CCW folks? All that would be an improvement.
Be better if NC joined the free states and eliminated the Jim Crow PPP laws from the books entirely. But better than current reality.
Yep, 100% agreed. ABC11 mentioned something about CCW apps too, but I’m not sure how that would work with fingerprinting, etc.
