I know those feels. In one breath they say, omg why do you need so many knives? Minutes later, hey can I borrow a knife? Of all the crap I pack around daily my blade is most important. Love my flashlight, love my pistol, love the multitool, but if spyderco or Kershaw ain’t really close I’m having a bad day.
I’ve said it time and again, if I had to choose between a knife and flashlight or my pistol, I’ll take the knife and flashlight every time.
Great post and video. Just another reason to add to the arsenal of reasons of why one should carry a knife at all times.
Don’t forge to carry legal. Every state seems to have different edged weapons laws, and it’d be a shame to be legal for your gun but get popped for an illegal knife.
Definitely true. Here in NC the knife laws are incredibly vague. Good news is, I’m not aware of any place that outright bans carrying a knife, so that’s good.
Granting that I’m getting to be a grumpy old man, being allowed to carry a knife was a rite of passage as a boy in the midwest. It’s a rare day that I don’t have one with me.
