S&W M&P9 Pro Trigger Job

Yesterday I posted about my first impressions of the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Pro, and the majority of my discontent with the pistol was with the awful gritty trigger. Sure, I could throw an Apex Tactical DCAEK kit in the pistol, and the trigger would improve considerably, however, I don’t feel that I should need to throw a $100 trigger kit into a brand new pistol in order for it to have a serviceable trigger. …

DIY MOLLE Clip

While getting some stuff around last night for this weekends Trace Armory Group pistol/carbine class, I wanted to add a small “boo boo kit” to my HSGI Suregrip belt. Low and behold I did not have any MOLLE locks, or other MOLLE attachment pieces around the house. I came up with a really stupid simple solution, that is easy to weave, easy to make, and easy to detach. It is so simple in fact, that …

Crossbreed Supertuck Squeaking!

The Crossbreed Supertuck is a fine holster, and mine is my favorite holster for concealed carry. As I noted in my review of the holster though, the clips on the holster are rubbing against the leather causing a nasty squeak when I move about during the day. Where to get it? I …

DIY Glock Sight Pusher

I’ve got a handful of Glock pistols, all of which wear some sort of aftermarket sights. For a couple years now, I have been hammering them in with a framing hammer, and a brass punch. It actually works quite well for getting them into the dovetail, however for fine tuning the sights at the range, it can be a pain. I was home visiting my parents this last week, and I had the opportunity to …

Pearce Grip Handstop

This is a quick tutorial on how to use a Pearce pistol grip extension as a handstop on a Troy TRX Extreme handguard. I would imagine the process would be similar on other similar handguards as well. First, I headed over to see my friends at Carolina Gunrunners this afternoon, and I picked up a Pearce grip extension for a Glock 26. While looking around, I noticed the Pearce grip extensions, and noticed that they …
