Thanks For Nothing, Buck

I’m a couple days late on this news, but if you haven’t already heard, last week, James Yeager from Tactical Response went on YouTube and made some pretty stupid remarks.  He said the following at the end of his minute long rant about the possibility of an executive order regarding gun control:

I’m not f*****g putting up with this! I’m not letting my country be ruled by a dictator! I’m not letting anybody take my guns! If it goes one inch further, I’m gonna start killing people!

He then took the video down, edited his comments, and put it back up, and then followed it up with a couple of other videos that were almost equally as stupid.

After he posted the video, the State of Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security revoked Yeagers concealed carry permit, saying the following:

The number one priority for our department is to ensure the public’s safety. Mr. Yeager’s comments were irresponsible, dangerous, and deserved our immediate attention. Due to our concern, as well as that of law enforcement, his handgun permit was suspended immediately. We have notified Mr. Yeager about the suspension today via e-mail. He will receive an official notification of his suspension through the mail

Irresponsible, yep.

Dangerous, yep.

Deserving of immediate attention, yep.

Thank for nothing, James.

  1. This will only work because, at his core, James Yeager isn’t a murdering psychopath, he’s just a piss and vinegar internet celebrity. It’s funny to see some backlash from this that will actually have some consequences for him, but *only because he’s a law-abiding citizen*. If an actual imminent active shooter’s concealed carry permit was taken away, I don’t really see that stopping him.
