On Saturday I headed up to Sir Walter Gun Club in Creedmoor, NC to meet up with Ben, and some other friends for the monthly USPSA match. You may have noticed that I haven’t posted any match videos in a while, and that is because I got too fat. Well, I’m down 30lbs now, so here we go.
We shot 7 stages, and about 175rds. All but one of the stages required a bit of movement, and multiple reloads. I owned all of the steel and shot pretty accurately throughout the entire match. No mikes, no no shoots, and I don’t think that I even had any deltas but if I did, there were very few.
Slowing down, and seeing the front sight lift is helping my shooting tremendously. I’m feeling like I’m starting to be able to call my shots, and know when I should make one up based upon where the front sight was when the shot broke.
I’m committing to starting my dry-fire routine this week, so hopefully there will be more good things to come.
Appause for losing the weight! Never easy to do. Always important.
Hahaha, Thanks Sadie. I’m getting there.
