Polymer80 Plastic 80% AR Lowers

80% lower receivers are pretty cool. They were once something that most shooters didn’t really care about, but with the current political climate, many are looking to buy the un-serialized 80% lower receivers that they can finish themselves without having to involve any paperwork or FFL or anything.

Polymer80 is a new company that will begin making 80% AR-15 lower receivers later this month, out of plastic. Surely you’ve seen the finished polymer lowers, but the 80% polymer lower receiver is a pretty new thing. Rather than making a direct copy of the standard AR-15 lower receiver, these look to have some extra material added to make them more sturdy.

I think this is pretty cool, and I’ll probably buy a couple of them if they are priced well.
