I had heard third hand that Gov. McCrory was on WPTF yesterday morning, and he announced that he will sign HB937 into law. I didn’t want to announce this until I had heard it with my own ears, and this morning Brian Freeman, the program director from WPTF was nice enough to send me the audio file from the McCrory interview, and I can confirm that Gov. McCrory did announce that he will sign HB937 now that the conference committee removed the PPP elimination from the bill.
This is exciting news. Who’s up for a concealed carry steak and movie on October 1st?
