Triangle Tactical Podcast and Blog on Guns, Gear, and Competition Shooting
I spent most of the day today entering events into the Triangle Tactical Shooting Sports Calendar for 2014. In years past I’ve attempted to keep up with every action shooting type match in the state, but it was too much to try and keep up with, so this year instead of doing a mediocre job with the entire state, I decided to try and do a really good job with the greater Triangle area.
I entered in matches from the following places:
- The-Range
- Caswell Ranch
- H2O Fowl Farms
- Zombie Shooters Association
- Ant Hill Range
- Tarheel 3-Gun
- Pitt County Wildlife Club
- Frontline Defense
- 37PSR Gun Club
- Shoot2Live
- Sir Walter Gun Club
From January 1, 2014, through December 31, 2014, these places will host 208 competitive shooting matches in Eastern NC. This isn’t even counting some of the other matches that will be taking place that I’m still waiting on dates for.
After entering all of this info into spreadsheets all day my brain is pretty fried so head over to the calendar, and let me know if I missed anything and I’ll get it added as soon as possible.

I have been saying for some time now that I want to get back into shooting competitively after having been away for more than 15 years. It would be great if we could ever squad together at some of these events.
