Greenville, SC Reminds Bar Owners They Can Post Against Guns

An email that was sent out by the City of Greenville, SC to residents and bar owners in regards to the new restaurant carry bill that SC Gov. Nikki Haley signed into law last week.

For City Residents, Restaurant and Bar Owners

Governor Haley has approved a bill that allows citizens who have a license to carry a concealed weapon to take their firearm into a bar or restaurant as long as they do not drink alcohol. The bill also allows bar and restaurant owners and operators to prohibit customers from bringing a firearm into their business as long as they post the required signage. The law went into effect today, upon Governor Haley’s signature. View the State Law

Bar and restaurants may choose to download a print-ready sign, available in both English and Spanish.
