If you live in California, it’s time to leave.

The California State Senate voted today to pass more gun control. 8 bills in total,  all of which closing “loopholes” in the current laws.

Most notably, this package of bills creates a registry for ammo purchasers, and requires background checks to buy ammo.

Democrat Kevin De Leon’s SB53, which would require background checks and licensing for all ammunition purchases, and store information about who’s buying bullets in a state database.

This package of bills also outlaws the California “bullet button” which was a type of magazine release that is widely used by owners of AR-15 type rifles in CA that requires the use of a tool (a bullet) pushed into a hole to release the magazine of the rifle. Since these are outlawed,  basically all semi auto rifles that have a removable magazine (most of them) are banned in the state.

Add this with the recent decision on microstamping in California and it’s pretty clear that the government of the state does not care about the safety and security of their citizens,  but rather wants to do anything in their power to disarm them and push their liberal left,  anti gun agenda.
