Earlier today, House Bill 17 (the bill that formerly contained a restaurant carry provision) was overwhelmingly passed in the NC State House on a 97-20 vote. This morning the NC House Judiciary Committee met to discuss House Bill 17, which is the bill containing restaurant carry, and a provision making concealed carry, and pistol purchase permit records private.
