What Are Your Thoughts on This? (Castle Doctrine Discussion)

Earlier tonight, this article linked on another website I frequent. I was surprised by the responses from some of those who commented. I’d be interested to hear your take on it, whether the homeowner was in the right, or if some other sort of intervention should have been taken. Article credit: Claudine Zap – The Lookout A 16-year-old who lived in Loudoun County, Va., was shot and killed when he accidentally entered the wrong house. …

Many are claiming that this law is poorly written, and that it will have many “unintended consequences.” After watching the video below ask yourself: is it written poorly, or is it written exactly the way the gun grabbers wanted it written? It seems to me that this …

Feinstein’s “Assault Weapon” Ban Advances

Yesterday, Sen. Diane Feinstein’s ludicrous “Assault Weapon” ban passed the Senate Judiciary Committee on a 10-8 party line vote. I’m hearing from many in our community that they are “confident that it won’t pass the House”. I’m not so confident. I don’t think that we should rely on our last possible roadblock to stop this ridiculous legislation. Instead, we need to be vigilant in calling, writing, and emailing our Senators this week. Here in NC …

In just a couple hours, I’ve received quite a few really good questions, so I figured I’d ask the question over here on the site as well. So, what questions do you have about competitive shooting? Maybe you have never shot a match …

Pocket Knives Now Approved for Flight by TSA

Earlier this week the TSA has announced that they will begin to allow certain pocket knives on flights. The restrictions placed on knives are as follows: Blade length less than 6cm Blade width less than 1/2″ at widest point No “molded handles” No locking blades They have released this handy infographic showing what is, and what isn’t allowed: So, what does that mean? The NRA Fires a Second Blast at Joe Biden

Recently I posted a video made by the NRA where they ridicule Vice President “Slow” Joe Biden on his advise for women to buy a shotgun for self defense, and to just fire it out the window if they feel threatened. Today, the NRA has another video, this time in response to Mr. Biden’s advise to just fire your shotgun through the door of your home if you feel threatened. Give it a watch.
