Reports are coming out this afternoon that Remington will not be killing the R51 like many others have reported, but instead will be retooling, and replacing all of the problem pistols. An amendment was added by Rep. Massie (R – KY) to the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act of 2015 today that would allow for concealed carry, and repeal the “assault weapon” ban in Washington, DC.
